A simple business card to Mr W. H. Yale of Winona MN from Mr J. H. Moss of Dresbach to let Mr Yale know that Mr Moss would be in Winona the coming Saturday or the first of next week.

J. H. Moss
The 1880 United States census showed John H. Moss (age 22, born in Wisconsin, farm laborer) married to Minnie (age 21, born in Minnesota) and living in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. John lived with his parents Ira (age 73, born in Connecticut, farmer) and Eliza (age 59, born in New York) and his sister Nellie J. (age 28, born in Wisconsin).

The 1885 Minnesota census showed John H. Moss (age 28, born in Wisconsin) married to Minnie (age 26, born in Minnesota) and living in Dresbach, Minnesota. A son, Herald (age 2, born in Minnesota), also lived with the couple.

Mr Moss seems to have worked at the Minnesota Brick Yard in Dresbach.

According to the Eight Biennial Report to the Governor of Minnesota by to Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota, in 1895 Mr Yale was on several Standing Committees overseeing the administration of the University.
